Wikipedia:

07 Bring me up

Info:
Ash Ra Tempel was a German band centred around innovative guitarist Manuel Gottsching. 'Starring Rosi' is not as 'cosmic' as the previous albums but certainly has its moments. It is also quite accessible. Rosi Muller was Manuel's girlfriend at the time of this album and she contributes spoken words throughout, and to good effect. 'Laughter Loving' is a lengthy, cheerful song (with hints of country-rock) which features wonderful wah-wah guitaring, some synth, and a strong rhythmic prescence, with some echoed laughing from Rosi at the start. 'Day-Dream' is just that - a very stoned, 2 chord sequence, strummed on acoustic guitar with some nice lead electric guitar lines, with spoken lines from Rosi, repeated by Manuel's singing. Nice, for sure. Next up is an all-too- brief instrumental piece 'Schizo', which creates a very detatched, spacey atmosphere, built around Manuel's affected and highly emotive guitar-lines. This could've been a side-long jam. 'Cosmic Tango' is a funky little number, with Rosi's take on space-whisper (not unlike Gong's Gilli Smyth) and is pretty cool. 'Interplay of Forces' starts out with the most spacey section of the album, again reminding one of French space-rockers Gong, it then gives way to another lengthy jam in the same style as 'Laughter Loving'. 'The Fairy Dance' is a pretty little instrumental track, with some synth and Mellotron to boot, very pastoral. Last song is 'Bring Me Up', which is a funky, blues tune, with a jammy vibe and more of Manuel's magical guitaring.

If you listen to this; you will feel a rebirth of music-understanding!
just have a look to this kind of poetry of Ash Ra Tempel:

Info:
For many music fans, the importance of Nico lies with her performance as part of the Velvet Underground, and especially her vocals on Femme Fatale, All Tomorrow's Parties, I'll Be Your Mirror and Sunday Morning. But by 1967, she had already parted ways with The Velvet Underground, and she would continue to build a formidable career as a singer.

According to the wikipedia, on December 13, 1974, Nico was the support act at Tangerine Dream's infamous concert at Reims Cathedral in north-east France. The promoter had so greatly oversold the capacity of the venue that attendees could not move or reach the outside, eventually resulting in some fans urinating inside the cathedral hall. As a result, the Roman Catholic Church denounced these actions, ordered the rededication of the cathedral and banned future gigs on church property.

This FM broadcast of Nico at Reims mostly focuses on Nico and her harmonium, probably with the exception of the final track, Atmospherics, which features Tangerine Dream and their space rock. Of the six tracks, three are from Nico's 1970 Desertshore album, while two come from 1974's The End. Nico is gracious but it is that melancholic, Eastern European touch (brought to full bloom by Arvo Part) that comes through, especially on her cover of The End. Years later, under the sponsorship of filmmaker David Lynch, Jocelyn Montgomery would try and rethread the path taken earlier by Nico. But within the confines of the Reims cathedral, the sincerity in Nico's delivery cannot be fudged or mistaken for anything else.

Info:
The Davis Sextet opened for Neil Young and Crazy Horse and The Steve Miller Blues Band for two nights at the Fillmore East, March 6-7 (Friday-Saturday).

If playing support act bothered Miles, it didn't show in his music. Miles wrote in his autobiography of that period: "The sound of my music was changing as fast as I was changing musicians, but I was still looking for the combination that could give me the sound I wanted. Jack DeJohnette gave me a certain deep groove that I just loved to play over, but then Billy Cobham gave me a more rock-like sound. Dave Holland played the stand-up bass and I could groove behind that in a way that I couldn't when Harvey Brooks brought in his electric bass sound. The same thing with Chick (Corea), Herbie (Hancock), Joe (Zawinul), Keith (Jarrett) and Larry (Young), too. I was seeing it all as a process of recording all this music, just getting it all down while it was flowing out of my head."

Miles Davis - trumpet
Wayne Shorter - tenor & soprano saxophones
Chick Corea - electric piano
Dave Holland - acoustic & electric basses
Jack DeJohnette - drums
Airto Moreira - percussion
